Get to know 15&!

Do you know Baek Yerin and Park Jimin (no, not the cutie from BTS! Still a cutie, though)? No? Well, you need to get to know them right now! Brighten up your life! 

Park Jimin and Baek Yerin were both born in 1997, hence the group name 15&, as they were both 15 when they debuted officially. 

Park Jimin, born on the 5th of July, is an outgoing, energetic, happy and sometimes crazy girl who likes to spread love and has a passion for singing. She won the first season of the Korean talent show, KPOP STAR, in 2012. 

 Baek Yerin, born on the 26th of June, is a shy, quiet, reserved girl who is kind and also has a passion for singing. She performed on Star King, becoming known as an 'R&B genius', and later auditioned for JYP in 2007. 




 Both Jimin and Yerin can speak English and Korean fluently due to studying in the US, and although their personalities are almost polar opposites, this keeps an amazing balance between the group. 

 15& officially debuted on the 15th of October, 2012, with the song 'I Dream', an emotional ballad which showcases their pure vocal talent effortlessly. 

 Between debut and comeback, 15& uploaded videos of '15& SOUND' which were covers of songs such as 'Be My Baby' by Wonder Girls. One was of a cover they had created with the rapper known for songs such as 'Tasty Mountain' and 'I Want You to Be Unhappy', San E. This song was 'I Didn't Go To School' and attracted much attention because it was awesome. 

 After a long wait, 15& finally came back in 2013 with a catchy, upbeat song that's hard to get out of your head once it gets in there. With some Wonder Girls-style lyrics, "I want somebody-body, somebody-body, somebody to love, yeah", this song, 'Somebody' was a hit track. Along with a music video which mimicked KPOP STAR, the program Jimin won, it was fun overall.

 A month ago, 15& came back once again, only this time they returned a little of the way back to their roots in 'I Dream', with the title track, 'Can't Hide It' after releasing some hilarious teasers.

 Quickly after the end of the promotions for 'Can't Hide It', it was revealed that 15& would be making another comeback, but this time with a full album! The title track is named 'Sugar' and it comes with a 'making-of' film which allows us to see the true characters of Jimin and Yerin. 

 As this is a full album, there are a total of 10 tracks - 3 of which are the already released 'I Dream', 'Somebody' and 'Can't Hide It'. The remainder of the album includes the tracks 'Star', 'Sugar', 'Shy Ma Boy', 'Oh My God', 'Rain & Cry', 'Not Today Not Tomorrow', and 'Silly Boy'. In my opinion, there is not a single dull track on this album, and that's why I love 15&'s music. 

 Recently, 15& have been uploading 'live videos' of the songs included on their album 'Sugar'. So far, they have uploaded those for: Rain & Cry, Star, and Not Today Not Tomorrow. 

 These live videos show the vocal talent that Park Jimin and Baek Yerin have, while also showing their personalities behind the stages.
